If you walk in order from the Tokushima side, you will pass through the 23rd temple, Yakuoji (Hiwasa), Mugi, Asakawa, Kainan, Kaifu, Shishikui, and Mitoko Tunnel, then after about 35km you will enter Toyo Town, Kochi Prefecture. After passing Kannoura and Shirahama, you will reach the bottom of the hill and arrive at Ikumi, Toyo Town. Looking straight down National Route 55, our guesthouse, Minshuku Ikumi, will be about 100m to the left (sea side). Look for the sign in the photo on the bottom right as a landmark.

It is about 40km to the 24th temple, Saigozaki-ji Temple. If you are confident in your walking ability, you can leave our lodge and continue on the same day. If you have more time, there are two guesthouses around 20km and one around 30km, and you can reach or pass the 24th temple the next day.

Our guesthouse, Minshuku Ikumi, has the motto of providing comfortable service.

Many repeat pilgrims also stay at our hotel.
